Apart from our accommodation, an interesting proposal is the Kalohori wetlands where a photographer and not only can visit him every day. The distance is only 6 km from Sindos, and we recommend it to people who like this kind of hobby!

The Kalohori lagoon is the northern gate of the National Park. It is a coastal wetland with special interest. Although located on the outskirts of a large urban center and under significant pressure, it is one of the most important areas of the National Park, as it hosts large numbers of birds and other organisms, all year round.

Often, large numbers of flamingos, find abundant food in the shallow waters.

The lagoon offers impressive pictures, with the birds feeding on the waters and in the background the urban landscape and the cranes of the harbor of Thessaloniki.

Today the Kalohori lagoon covers an area of 2.260 acres. The bottom of the lagoon is 0.5 - 1 meter beneath the sea. The phenomenon of sedimentation is also visible in the estuary of the French River, where one can see the telephone poles in the lagoon, where it was pasture.

Homemade marshmallows are a unique appetizer that you will hardly find anywhere else. Made one to one of the vine leaves in the arbor outside the courtyard and cooked with mrs Despina's secret recipe.

The local cheese "mastelo" is something that all visitors of Chios want to try. Cooked in a unique way to give you the extraordinary flavor.

The spinach pie with fresh spinach from our garden is a dish that will delight you.

Try homemade Chian sauce along with fried cod or fried zucchini and eggplant.

Daily dishes fresh and well cooked satisfy every wish of a good gourmet. Such are Moussaka, Pastitsio, Stuffed Tomatoes, Suzhoukakia Smyrnaika, Coconut Beef, Chicken with Mushrooms, Papoutsakia.

In the menu there are also many roasts such as steaks, chopsticks, burgers, skewers, chicken fillet, sausage, bacon.

We therefore wish every visitor to discover the unique wealth of Chios and our restaurant to be a stubble in his/her sweet memories of the island.

Who we are

The "Stella family apartments" complex started its operation on 23/03/1998 and is located on 8 Grigoriou Solomou Street in Sindos, Thessaloniki, and very close to the industrial area of Sindos.

The location of Stella family apartments provides excellent access to public transport and excellent connection to existing infrastructure (PPC, water and telephone services). In addition, there is already a connection to the main sewerage network.

Regarding the operational form of the tourist unit, it is stated that according to the current operating signal by the Greek National Tourism Organization (under the number MHTE 09.33.K.12.3K.04924.0.1.) Belongs to the non-main hotel accommodation (furnished rooms - apartments) and in the category of three (3) keys, while the total capacity of the complex amounts to 11 rooms and 22 beds.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that the company has continuous operations (throughout the year).
